I mentioned in a previous post that I love celebration, and I love to plan and host parties. I am re-mentioning it now because I got an interesting request last week.
I have thought about getting an event planning certificate and planning parties and events professionally, but I always thought it would be 'in the future'. This happens with many things in my life (have I mentioned I am addicted to hobbies?) I thought that maybe after ACAD I could hop over to Mount Royal and do their Event Planning and Entrepreneurship Certificates, but it turns out I am better known as an event planner than I expected!
I got a request from a lady I know through the grapevine to plan her fundraiser! I am really nervous, and super excited, and I really don't want to mess up. To see some other parties I have planned you can go to: http://camisthemedparties.blogspot.ca/
Wish me luck! I will post some pictures of the event once it has happened.

Little Red Riding Hood Photo Shoot
I am very proud and excited to share with you my latest costume photo shoot, Little Red Riding Hood. I created this costume for Halloween of 2012, and got together with the customer (and model you are about to see) to document it so that I could use it for various marketing purposes and possibly in my portfolio.
The model, miss Kelsey Lyle, was fantastic to work with! We had a great time the the park feeding off of each others creative energy, and basically playing around with ideas. I think you will agree the result was a thing of beauty. Check out my facebook page for more pictures of other costumes, and artwork I have created: https://www.facebook.com/ColossalChameleon
Hope you enjoyed, if you have any questions or comments I would love to hear from you!

Dreams and Floods
Many of you have probably heard about the southern Alberta floods of 2013.
Because the downtown core is off limits, I have had a couple days off from my full time job to get ahead with Colossal Chameleon work. I have finished a new line of bows, and a costume photo shoot (stay tuned for my next post) and I have another shoot scheduled for this afternoon. I have had so much fun the last couple days and I can't help but dream of a day when this could be a full time gig for me.
Thanks for reading, have a great day and dream big.
